At the scene, the living room was in chaos with broken objects and a smashed TV screen.
More disturbing details were discovered on the rooms desk, including a box of Dove soap, matches, candle residue, foil and a powdery substance believed to be cocaine. A lighter and a burned soda can lid were also discovered in the debris, painting a picture of desperation and chaos.
In the rooms bathtub, remnants of candles and foil were found, along with burn marks and stains indicating a chaotic atmosphere.
Police had earlier received a 911 call reporting an aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The hotel also said that before his death, Liam had been acting strangely in the hotel lobby, smashing his laptop and being carried back to his room by staff.
At the scene, police and medical staff from SAME (Buenos Aires public emergency medical services system) confirmed that Liam Payne had died after falling from the third floor of the hotel. According to the determination, Liam Payne passed away at about 5:11 p.m. local time. Crescenti head of SAME said that Liam Paynes injuries were so serious that there was no possibility of recovery.
