Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner has met with lawyers and is making plans in case she prepares to divorce the England footballer, it has been reported

The 31-year-old model has been with the Manchester City defender since they were teenagers, and the couple share four children together – Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, and Reign, five, and Rezon, six months. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Cheshire after news broke of Kyle’s affair with Lauryn Goodman, and the revelation he was the father of her son, Kairo. But Annie and Kyle’s relationship hit the rocks yet again when in December last year, Lauryn confirmed the 34-year-old footballer was the father of her daughter, Kinara.

Annie was not at Wembley on Thursday night to watch her husband play against Greece, and earlier this year, it was reported she had kicked Kyle out of the family home after Lauryn sent her explosive text messages over Christmas exposing her husband’s affair. According to The Sun, the Manchester City captain has spent weeks trying to convince Annie to take him back, but the model has reportedly met with divorce lawyers.

While no final decision has been made about their marriage, sources claim Annie has been involved in several discussions about separating from Kyle for good. “Annie is prepared to go through with it. She isn’t messing about and has spoken to lawyers about what the future looks like,” the insider explained. They added that divorce has been an “ever-present threat” hanging over the couple since news of Kyle’s second lovechild broke, “but things are starting to come to a head”.

Annie was left heartbroken when Lauryn messaged her over Christmas last year to call out Kyle, and told the model, who was pregnant with Rezon at the time, that the footballer had been spending time with her son Kairo, and was also dad to Kinara. Annie and Kyle have been fighting to save their marriage since news of the affair broke, and a source close to the couple told The Sun that while she doesn’t have to divorce him “it’s always there as an option”.
